About this model
In 1904 Louis Cartier designed a wristwatch for his friend, the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who needed to read the time without taking his hands off the controls. The Santos became one of the first purpose-built men's wristwatches.
Today's Santos keeps the square case and exposed screws, and adds Cartier's QuickSwitch system for swapping straps without tools. The green sunray dial makes this medium-size version a standout.
Inside is Cartier's in-house automatic Calibre 1847 MC.
