About this model
Introduced in 1945, the Datejust was the first self-winding chronometer wristwatch to show the date in a window on the dial — the template for nearly every date watch that followed.
The "Wimbledon" nickname comes from the slate dial and green Roman numerals, echoing Rolex's long partnership with The Championships at Wimbledon. Paired here with a smooth bezel and the sporty Oyster bracelet, it is one of the most versatile everyday watches Rolex makes.
Inside is the Calibre 3235, Rolex's current-generation automatic movement with a roughly 70-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification.
